Things Husbands Do

*Today is day #21 of my 28 days of blogging.
Isn't it great when you are feeling under the weather and your husband/significant takes care of you?

Yesterday, I was feeling pretty lousy. My hubby got up early to take care of the baby and woke me up at 11am with breakfast in bed.
And then he told me to go back to sleep and HE took Sophia to Gymboree all by himself.
I got to sleep until 4pm! Isn't my hubby a keeper or what?!
Has your husband/significant other done something like this for you?

  5. What a sweetheart! Hmm, the last time I was sick, my husband did do a great job of taking care of our girls... but managed to whine and complain about it enough that you'd think I had been sick for years or something.

Hope you're continuing to feel better!

  12. That is very sweet indeed. I have to say that my hubby has always been very hands on with the kids and if I ever was not up to running the show, he would always step up to the plate. Not my hubby, but the sweetest thing I remember from being sick is when I had a really bad case of food poisoning. I could do nothing, but lay in bed and moan or run to the restroom if you know what I mean. I was homeschooling 3 children and it was a workday for hubby. My kids were probably 8, 6, and 4 at the time maybe slightly younger. My 8 year old handled the whole day - of course no school, but she kept the boys happy, got them their meals, and would check on me throughout the day. Honestly, made me very proud of her.

  18. My husband occasionally lets me sleep late on the weekends, but when I get up I have to start barking orders because he and my daughter have just been watching T.V. all morning, not eating breakfast, brushing teeth, getting dressed or anything that should have been done :)sigh....at least I got to sleep late.

  19. Jeez Renee! I wouldn't wake you up either if you start barking as soon as you wake! I'm sure they watch the clock as well hoping you stay in bed longer... :)
